Being involved in legal matters can be stressful, unfamiliar and unsettling. As someone who thrives on information and data, I try to bring transparency to the legal process to help my clients feel more comfortable. Every client is different, and therefore each matter requires a unique approach and perspective. People are truly at the heart of what I do and connecting with my clients brings a sense of purpose to my work.
I graduated from lndiana University’s McKinney School Law school in 2003 and have spent the majority of my legal career in complex litigation, representing clients in the areas of wrongful death, products liability, premises liability, construction litigation and toxic torts. A significant portion of my practice was also devoted to complex insurance coverage work, including environmental contamination and remediation, UM/UIM coverage and catastrophic property damage. I also regularly advised corporate and not-for profit clients in all aspects of business entity selection, start-up, contracts, and regulatory compliance. A portion of my career was spent in legal operations at an AmLaw 100 firm where I learned invaluable tools to bring greater efficiency and a true client-centric approach to the practice of law.
My practice is now primarily focused on family law matters, including divorce matters (pre & post), child related matters (custody, support, relocation), paternity matters, divorce decree enforcement, emancipation, and custody evaluations. I am no stranger to the courtroom and am excited to utilize my previous litigation experience to bring a unique perspective to family law cases.
